  • Barbara McKenzie has taken reasonable measures to ensure that all items are displayed as accurately as possible.

  1. By using this website, you acknowledge & agree to these terms and conditions.
  2. The following terms and conditions may be amended or modified at any time without any prior notice to any individual.
  3. All clothing items take 5-15 working days for delivery.
  4. Delivery time is calculated from the day your payment reflects on our side.
  5. Delivery time does not include weekends, nor public holidays.
  6. Delivery time also factors in the courier company's schedule which Barbara McKenzie cannot influence or control.
  7. Barbara McKenzie cannot be held liable for late deliveries from the courier service providers, for example; strikes, hi-jacking, natural disasters or any unforeseen delays.
  8. Customised clothing items are non-refundable nor exchangeable.
  9. Any clothing items required in less than our standard delivery time (meaning earlier than 5 working days) will be charged an additional Rush Order Fee of 35% of the total cost.
  10. The Rush Order Fee is non-refundable. 
  11. Any structural or design changes, alterations or adjustments that fall outside of the agreed product and measurements will be charged accordingly. 
 SCENARIO 1: I ORDERED ONE SIZE, BUT GOT A DIFFERENT SIZE / I ORDERED ONE ITEM, BUT GOT A DIFFERENT CLOTHING ITEM
  1. Contact us by email showing us pictures of the size label on the clothing item within 5 working days of delivery.
  2. The shopping cart and check-out will be inspected. 
  3. We do our internal investigation.
  4. Once complete with the investigation. 
Resolution A: If the customer, by their own doing has ordered the incorrect size or clothing item, the customer is to return the clothing item to Barbara McKenzie at their own cost, and the correct size or clothing item will be returned at the customer's cost.  
Resolution B: If the customer has ordered the correct size or clothing item, but Barbara McKenzie has sent the incorrect size or clothing item, the customer will have to return the clothing item to Barbara McKenzie (customer will be refunded for courier) and Barbara McKenzie will send the correct clothing item at Barbara McKenzie's cost. 
Resolution C: If the customer sends back damaged clothes, Barbara McKenzie reserves the right to decline the return or exchange and the clothing item will be returned at the customer’s cost. 
Resolution D: If the customer does not wish to receive another item, they may be refunded (provided the item is not made-to-order). The refund amount will be: Selling price (less) courier charge (even though it says "free shipping" it is paid for) (less) bank charges = Refund Price. This includes items bought on sale. For example: R1000 - R100 - R25 = R875
   

Exchanges and refunds need to be done within 5 workings days of delivery of your order. Refunds take between 5-10 working days from the day we received the clothing item. Proof of payment will be sent to the email address that was used to place the order. 

SCENARIO 2: I ORDERED THE RIGHT CLOTHING ITEM IN THE CORRECT SIZE, BUT IT DOES NOT FIT WELL
  1. Contact us by email within 5 working days of delivery.
  • LIVING OUTSIDE OF JOBURG:
    1. You will be required to mark on the clothing item where you would like to make adjustments. 
    2. You send the clothing item to us at your own cost. 
    3. We will make adjustments and send it back to you at our cost.
    4. This DOES NOT include redesigning clothing items.
    5. Depending on the changes to be made, they may be charged. 
  • LIVING IN JOBURG:
    1. If you live in Johannesburg (or close enough), we will set up an appointment with you, for a fitting and make the necessary adjustments. 
    2. This DOES NOT include redesigning clothing items.
    3. Depending on the changes to be made, they may be charged. 
PLEASE NOTE:
In the event that the returned clothing item has been worn, is damaged or is in no condition to be resold, we will decline the exchange and the clothing item will be returned the customer, at his/her own cost.
Any clothing that is custom-sized clothing cannot be returned nor exchanged. All clothing must be returned in its original packaging.
